Oh man...what a year!

After years of hoping, prodding, poking, paperwork, dreaming, proaction, new life, death, paperwork, demanding, waiting, patience, highs, lows...did I mention paperwork... my dear sweet husband moved to Minnesota last January 21stish or so for probably the hardest journey of his life...becoming an expat...

loosing your identity...

loosing your friends, family, language, reputation, power, independence, support, and hindsight IS a bitch...he probably wouldn't have ever come if he would have known how this last year would be...

sharpest learning curve ever! I think we are on our way up though...

whew for me that he didn't know what he was getting into and that now he can empathize with the journey I was on for 4.5 years...

but I didn't realize how hard repatriation would be...moving back to something or somewhere or a piece of your childhood that isn't the same...plus it has all been on my shoulders! Babies and husband to help find his way plus trying to provide for my fam with a slow moving but fun jewelry line! I have had a kink in my shoulder blade for the past year but thank god for the ridiculous support that is my extended family...thank you...thank you to my husband...I forget to thank him sometimes...teşekkülar kocacim benim...seni seviyorum
